Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige will perform at the Haiti concert

Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige will perform at the Haiti concertWyclef Jean, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige and Sean Diddy Combs were announced to perform at another charity concert aimed to raise money for Haiti. Titled SOS Saving OurSelves – Help For Haiti, it will take place this week, on February 5, in Miami.

Pharrell Williams, Chris Brown and Queen Latifah were announced to play at the concert earlier.

Wyclef Jean hinted that his former band The Fugees may reform to participate in Haiti charity: «Everyone is doing different relief and when the time is right, the vibe is right, The Fugees should definitely contribute a single to go into charity. I think it would raise a lot of money».

Earlier, producer Simon Cowell announced plans to record cover on REM’s song Everybody Hurts to raise money for Haiti. The list of artists who contributed their vocals for the track features Take That, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, JLS, Alexandra Burke, James Blunt and Joe McElderry.

It was also announced that U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song to benefit the Haiti people.
