Beyonce may participate in the BRIT Awards ceremony

Beyonce is set to make surprise appearance at the upcoming BRIT Awards 2010 ceremony, several British newspapers reported. Singer, who has got no nominations this year, was said to avoid the event. But, according to the source close to Beyonce, she has recently changed her mind.

However, it is unknown if she will perform onstage or deliver one of the awards.

The ceremony itself is set to take place on February 16 in London. It will feature performance by Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z, as well as by Cheryl Cole, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga, Kasabian and others.

Beyonce has recently set new record for Grammy Awards, becoming the person who has won most number of honors during the one ceremony. Singer was awarded in six categories, including Best Song for the track Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and Best Female Pop Performance for Halo.
